Filipino worker dies after being hit by a van

توفيت العاملة الفيليبينية أنطونيتا أكينو (51 عاماً) قبل ظهر السبت الماضي بعدما صدمتها سيارة فان في ذوق مصبح، وقد أُصيبت برضوض وجروح، ثم نُقلت في حالة اللاوعي إلى المستشفى لكنها فارقت الحياة بعد نحو ساعتين.

قتيلة اثيوبية صدما على اوتوستراد الصفرا

An Ethiopian female, Mamaya Lili, died after being hit by a car on Safra highway, in Byblos, today. The driver was arrested.

نقلا عن الوكالة وطنية – 27/9/2010 - افاد مندوب "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" في جبيل، ميشال كرم، ان سيارة بيجو رقمها 463454/ج بقيادة (أ.ز.د) صدمت على المسلك الشرقي من اوتوستراد الصفرا، الاثيوبية مامايا ليلي، والتي توفيت على الفور، ونقلت جثتها الى مستشفى سيدة مارتين في جبيل، فيما تم توقيف السائق.

Bengalis falling too from the balconies

Al-Akhbar newspaper noted today the following.

A Bengali maid, Shania Sh., fell from the house of her employers in Beit Shabab (Mount Lebanon). She was taken to hospital and her situation is deemed stable. The reports mention that she fell while cleaning the windows.

Another Bengali woman, Fatima Z., was hit by a car on the Airport Road area. She sustained injuries and was taken to hospital. The reports mention that Fatima did not hold ID documents.
