Nepalese migrant worker found dead, dangling from a rope

Al-Akhbar newspaper reported today that, last Friday, a Nepalese migrant worker, Leila A. (40 years) was found hanging from her neck and dangling from a rope tied to her windows' steel defenses in Fanar, North of Beirut. The cause of the incident and its circumstances remain unclear, and reports have said - according to Al-Akhbar - that Leila moved to her new employers' house two days prior to her death.

جثة عاملة نيبالية معلقة بحبل
عُثر يوم الجمعة الماضي على جثة العاملة النيبالية ليلى ع. (40 عاماً) معلقة من عنقها ومتدلية من حبل مربوط في الدفاع الحديدي لنافذة منزل في الفنار. لم تُعرف ملابسات الحادث وأسبابه، لكن التقارير تلفت إلى أن ليلى انتقلت للعمل لدى أصحاب المنزل قبل يومين من وفاتها.
