وفاة ساميا خليل الخوام بعد تعرضها للضرب ورمي المياه الساخنة عليها من قبل خادمتها الاثيوبية

A Lebanese woman, living in Byblos (Jbeil) and born in 1938, died from injuries caused by the attack of her Ethiopian domestic worker. The worker had thrown boiling water on the woman aprox. 2 weeks ago.
توفيت المواطنة ساميا خليل الخوام مواليد ١٩٣٨ صور وسكان مدينة جبيل في مستشفى سيدة المعونات الجامعي متأثرة بجروحها التي اصيبت بها منذ عشرة ايام نتيجة تعرضها من قبل خادمتها الاثيوبية للضرب ورمي المياه الساخنة عليها مما ادى الى اصابتها بحروق من الدرجة الاولى.
وقد حضر الى المستشفى الطبيب الشرعي مالك هلال وعاين الجثة كما حضرت الادلة الجنائية وعناصر مخفر جبيل في قوى الامن الداخلي.
اشارة الى ان الاسيويية التي القى القبض عليها مخفر جبيل قد احيلت الى النيابة العامة في جبل لبنان.

Labor agencies trafficking migrant domestic workers into Syria

BEIRUT: Dozens of migrant domestic workers are being trafficked over the Lebanese border into Syria every month, despite the war raging there and official bans by Syria and several major source countries against bringing in new labor, officials from the Indonesian and Philippine embassies said Friday.
